These Spider Weights are designed specifically for holding large baits and heavy line in strong or deep currents.

To get the best results and avoid getting stuck:

Always test first! Bend the legs to different angles, deploy or throw out 10-50m and retrieve it to see how firmly it grips the bottom.

Adjust the bends until it holds well but still releases easily when you reel in.

Quick bending guide:

- Use gentler 120° bends for 95% of all conditions and a must with small to medium baits, 100-150lb braid, 50w-80w reels.

- Only use sharper 90° bends when its needed to hold bigger baits in stronger conditions and only when using 200-250lb braid, 130 reels etc (but always try lesser bends first as this bites in hard and requires plenty of force to bend the legs and wind in)

The last thing anyone wants is a Spider Weight digging in hard on a 350m drop and turning your day into a gym session trying to wind it back in!

Start conservative with the bends – you can always make them sharper if you need more grip.
